Bromo Ijen Sukamade Tour Package 4 Days 3 Nights is one of the adventure package options in East Java by exploring the twin mountains of Bromo and Ijen then continuing with a visit to the green turtle conservation area on Sukamade Beach.

The Mount Bromo Ijen tour is quite popular among tourists as a natural tourist destination for active volcanoes. However, an additional visit to Sukamade will add a new experience to being close to protected animals, namely green turtles on Sukamade beach.

What is the itinerary like? Here we will provide a brief overview of the activity schedule which starts from Surabaya and ends at the ferry port or Bali where this route is most used by tourists.

Day 1: Pick up in Surabaya – Hotel near Bromo

After your arrival in Surabaya, we will immediately pick you up at the international airport and then take you to the hotel in Bromo that we have booked according to the agreement.

From Surabaya airport to the hotel in Bromo around 3 hours. If your time permits, you can also visit tourist locations in the direction of Bromo. For example: Madakaripura waterfall, ect. Arriving at the hotel, check in and rest. (Possible pick up at hotel, train station etc.)

Day 2: Mount Bromo Tour – Hotel Near Ijen

Wake up at 3 am, jeep will pick you up at the hotel. Drive to the location to see the sunrise.After seeing the sunrise, continue to see the beautiful landscape of Mount Batok, Bromo and Semeru in the same location.

The journey continues by jeep to the Bromo sea of ​​sand. Then walk to the Bromo crater passing the Pura Luhur Poten. If you don’t like walking, you can rent a horse at the jeep parking location.

Finish from the Bromo crater then return to the jeep and go to the hotel for breakfast, pack your luggage and head to the hotel in Ijen. Driving from the Bromo area to the Ijen Hotel is around 4 hours if the hotel is in Bondowoso City or 6 hours if the hotel is in Banyuwangi. Check in and rest and prepare to climb Ijen at midnight.

Day 3: Mount Ijen Tour – Sukamade Guesthouse – Seeing Turtles Laying Eggs

Wake up in the middle of the night and prepare to drive to the starting location for climbing Mount Ijen. If from Bondowoso departure is at 00 am and from Banyuwangi is at 01 am.

After arriving at the starting location for the climb, take care of your permit and check your health. Around 02.am, guided by a local guide, start climbing 3 km, which usually takes around 1.5-2 hours.

Arriving at the top of Mount Ijen, enjoy the beauty of the blue fire, sunrise and sulfur crater lake. Around 7-8 am, climb back down to the parking area.

Drive to Jajag village, Banyuwangi, around 3 hours. Next, change to a 4-wheel drive vehicle because the route includes rocky roads and rivers to get the sukamade around 2 hours. Arrive in Sukamade then check in at the simple homestay (Wisma).

Around 8pm start the night safari tour to wait and watch the turtles lay their eggs (if you are lucky you can directly see the process of turtles laying their eggs on the beach). Return to the homestay and rest.

Day 4: Sukamade Tour (Releasing baby turtles) – Transfer to the ferry port to Bali

After breakfast, go to the beach and release baby turtles accompanied by a local ranger. After this process is complete, return to the homestay and check out.

Drive to the ferry port to Bali for around 3 hours. If you still have time, you can stop by Green Bay. Arrive at the final destination and the tour ends.

If you return to Surabaya it will take around 7 hours by land transport.
