Day 1: Pick up in Yogyakarta – Accommodation in Bromo

Our driver will pick you up in Yogyakarta in the morning then drive to a hotel near Bromo for a 6 hour drive. Arrive at the hotel then check in and rest.

Day 2: Bromo Sunrise Tour – Accommodation in Tumpak Sewu

The Bromo sunrise tour starts at 3 am using a jeep with hotel pick-up. The jeep will take you to the sunrise viewing point at the top of Mount Penanjakan or Kingkong Hill.

Arriving at the view point, we will wait for sunrise at around 5.15 am. There are no activities here, always waiting for the sun to rise, unless you go to Bromo at the best time and you can also see the beauty of the stars at night which are usually called with the Bromo Milky Way.

When the sun begins to appear, capture this best moment as well as the view of the surrounding mountain ranges such as Mount Batok, Mount Bromo and Mount Semeru.

When the sun starts to rise, the tour continues by jeep to the Bromo sea of ​​sand. Then we will walk to the steps of Mount Bromo for 1 km, then climb 250 steps to reach the edge of the Bromo crater. Enjoy the splendor of the Bromo crater and the surrounding natural landscape.

If you are satisfied, return to the jeep and head to the hotel for breakfast. After that, check out and drive to the homestay near the Tumpak Sewy waterfall. The road trip takes around 4-5 hours to accommodation near the Tumpak Sewu waterfall. Upon arrival then check in and rest.

Day 3: Tumpak Sewu Waterfall Tour – Accommodation in Ijen

Wake up early and have breakfast at the homestay then head to the gate of the Tumpak Sewu waterfall.The tour begins with a panoramic view of the waterfall and continues to the base of the waterfall.

To reach the base of the waterfall, it takes about 1 hour to climb over slippery rocky cliffs because there are many water sources. Be careful step by step so as not to slip because the path is very dangerous..

From this base you can see the majesty of the waterfall. And you can go to a nearby spot, namely Tetes cave. Once you’re satisfied, go back upstairs and head to the homestay, shower, pack your luggage and drive to the hotel near to Ijen. Driving duration is around 4 hours, check in and rest.

Hari ke 4 : Ijen Blue Fire – Drop off ferry port or Bali

At 12 midnight, check out the hotel and drive to the Paltuding post for around 1.5-2 hours drive.Paltuding Post is the place where the climb to Mount Ijen begins.

The climb starts at 2 am accompanied by a local guide. Before climbing, our driver will arrange permits and medical check up.

After all the requirements have been completed then start climbing for 1.5 hours to the edge of the Ijen crater. From the edge of the crater then descend into the sulfur crater lake to see the blue fire phenomenon up close.

After that, go back to the top and see the beauty of the largest sulfur crater lake in the world which has a turquoise green color. Once satisfied, return to the Paltuding post and travel to Bali or get off at the crossing ferry port. This tour has finished.
